OVERVIEW

  • Supernova is an AI company that empowers organizations with cloud integration services. They need to establish credibility and be positioned as a leader in this growing sector.

  • The first experience of acquiring A.I. (API) business integrations can be tricky. Many factors influence users’ decision-making process. One of the main problems identified was the pushback against conversion based on tech misinformation or bias.

  • Create a digital experience that establishes credibility and leads to conversion with clear communication points and a timeless feel.

I divided the pain-points of the participants into 3 main ethical categories. I used some pop-culture references from 80’s movies & series to illustrate some ideological & cultural bias.

PROCESS

My user research strategy consists in develop a strategy to find user patterns and recognizing main pain-points. In order to understand, I developed a series of interviews with an A.I. ethical expert to comprehend fear-based decisions in this sector. In this secondary research we found primary human factors that will shape the rest of the process. We used mood board tools and affinity maps to visualize and prioritize restraints. Some other techniques where employed.

START & REFINE DESIGN

Considering the user research, I developed two main strategies to deliver some solutions. Using the Supernova A.I. image technology we evaluated a visual database considering user complaints. We developed a cohesive solution and prove few visual input with participants to attend the goals. I then decided to develop Information Architecture strategies and a simple Z layout for testing the responsive website.

  • In the Lo-Fi Usability Studies, participants refer to an overall pleasant and reliable experience. However, there was some reticence due to the lack of visual stimuli.

  • Based on user feedback there were some recommendations for visual support, in addition, for the sake of giving extra content/context and making users feel assured is created an area with blog cards by specialized authors.

  • The hierarchy and layout are logical and sequential. Typography support legibility & visual focus.

  • Participants report an increased affinity with the Supernova brand & services.

  • One of the most valuable things I get from this process is how to learn from failures. Supernova brand was rejected branding project that I repurposed into a beautiful case study for UX & Innovation. This process proves, not only resilience but displays a possible course of action that I would take in a similar situation.

  • There is a simple design system in the making that makes good use for educational purposes as well.
