HABITAT

After hurricanes Irma and María, I worked in conjunction with Para la Naturaleza, a major ecological institution with the goal of reforestation of 750,000 new trees. Alongside the marketing, design, and engineering team, our goal was to refresh and optimize the user experience, launching a new rebranded version Hábitat app to a growing audience in a very short time. My work functioned as a bridge to implement new brand guides and project capabilities from the ground up in a new UX/UI.

OUTCOME

Since habitat launch in iOS & Android devices, at the present, around 250k new trees of 257 species had been planted/documented. Local users had engaged and make use of this reforestation program app. Citizens, municipalities and the private sector had adhered to the efforts to ecological reconstruction in Puerto Rico.
